This afternoon the Selkirk Fire Department donated $266.16 to the Make A Wish Foundation. The money was collected during the recent Glenmont Fireman's Fair, and Flea Market events.

A few years ago Firefighter Steven Hummel Jr. first put out Make A Wish collection cans, during the Fair and Flea Market. Through his continued efforts the cans have been put out every year, since that first year, and he has turned over all of the monies collected to help out this great cause. Great Job FF Hummel Jr.

The Make A Wish Foundation is hosting their annual Walk For Wishes event, at the Joe Bruno Stadium, this Saturday August 12th. Registration begins at 8AM if you are interested in participating. Website is below.
