On Sunday January 22nd, at 7:44PM, Selkirk FD was dispatched to a confirmed structure fire on South Albany Road. There was a report a heavy smoke condition coming from a section of the house. Crews on scene immediately stretched lines into home and put the fire out. There was only minor damage to the home. All occupants made it out safely and unharmed. Cause of the fire was considered to be electrical.
