Last night I meet with the Webelos 2, pack 272 at Selkirk station #1. They were very interested to hear what we do as firefighters. We spent an hour going over fire safety, what kind of fire calls we get, how we fight fires, and even how we save peoples pets. Then I walked them through our fire trucks, showed them the jaws of life, how we lift cars, and even how we wear our SCBAs.
